Today feels like spring. While the sky is blue and cloud-free, I am busy working away on my spring line for the shop. Spring weather, I am so glad to see you.

Fashion Friday
Today's Tip to Try:
Tanks outside of shirts.

This week's tip is another Jen Gray fashion move and I love it. In the dead of winter, I still have use for my tank tops. Layering tanks over other shirts is a creative way to get a good layering look through the cold weather months but still be comfortable and unique. Try pairing tanks over long sleeve shirt or short sleeved ones for a new way to re-invent your wardrobe. I like to pair it with my favorite necklaces or bracelets. Remember, the goal with these Fashion Friday tips is to help us all explore and be creative by discovering new ways to pair items together for a new wardrobe feel.
Have you tried this yet? I'd love to hear what you pair together in the comments or send a photo to megbrothers@gmail.com and I'll include it here in this post with mine. Happy Friday everyone.
(apologies for the poor photo quality this week)

Today's Tip To Try:
Wrist Warmers

It snowed here last night, so it feels appropriate to pull out the wrist warmers today. These are quickly becoming more common and it couldn't make me happier. They are cute, practical, and in style. My sister, Jen rocks them hard and I love it when she does. Around here they are easily found in many indie shops, but I made mine. There are patterns all over books and Ravelry if you are interested in making your own.
What color are your wrist warmers? Did you make yours or find them at a cute shop somewhere? Tell us about them here, or send a photo to megbrothers@gmail.com of you wearing some and I'll include it here.

Photos from you:

Check out her great tutorial on how to make some yourself here. Thanks for sharing the photos and tutorial, Angela.

Graffiti Love
"I start a picture and I finish it. I don't think about art while I work. I try to think about life." -Jean Michel Basquiat, famous graffiti artist.

photos taken with Nikon D300 and 18-55mm lens.
*Images and work not by Basquiat, but of local Denver graffiti.
I am feeling inspired by the sunshine and the color. It has me anxious to paint today. What has you feeling inspired today?

This Week's Tip To Try:
Big Fuzzy Earmuffs

I haven't owned a pair of earmuffs since I was a little girl. I recently found some on sale and grabbed two colors because I thought they were so cute.
What color are your earmuffs? Leave a comment and let us know, or send me and email (megbrothers@gmail.com) with a photo of you wearing them and I'll include it here.

Apartment Tour
I've recently been asked to do a home tour by someone who was curious to see our living space. So, today I have put together a mini tour of our warm and cozy 1,000 square foot loft in downtown Denver. When we decided to move into a loft, we were looking for an inspiring space - one that would feel homey (not apartment-like), warm, inviting, and had lots of character. When we saw this building, we immediately loved it. Today's photo tour is inside our unit, but eventually when it is not 20 degrees outside, I hope to get some good pictures of the outside of the building too. So, welcome to our home:
