Cropped Leggings



I apologize for the delay on this week's Fashion Friday post. Here it is in full spring-fever force. It is supposed to hit 60 degrees here today so I pulled out the cropped leggings and ballet flats for a spring test drive. And I have to say, it is rockin. These black ones are from H&M and the dress is from Target. The shoes are Steve Madden. I see this spring being full of leggings and dresses and with my flats and pink hair, I am fully ready for it.

Tattoos

I'm really into tattoos lately. I have been reading blogs and sorting through photos online just pouring over them lately. I'm preparing for my first this spring for my 28th birthday as a gift from my wonderful husband. Do you have ink? Do share.

Today feels like spring. While the sky is blue and cloud-free, I am busy working away on my spring line for the shop. Spring weather, I am so glad to see you.

Fashion Friday

Today's Tip to Try:
Tanks outside of shirts.


This week's tip is another Jen Gray fashion move and I love it. In the dead of winter, I still have use for my tank tops. Layering tanks over other shirts is a creative way to get a good layering look through the cold weather months but still be comfortable and unique. Try pairing tanks over long sleeve shirt or short sleeved ones for a new way to re-invent your wardrobe. I like to pair it with my favorite necklaces or bracelets. Remember, the goal with these Fashion Friday tips is to help us all explore and be creative by discovering new ways to pair items together for a new wardrobe feel.

Fashion Friday

Today's Tip To Try:
Wrist Warmers





It snowed here last night, so it feels appropriate to pull out the wrist warmers today. These are quickly becoming more common and it couldn't make me happier. They are cute, practical, and in style. My sister, Jen rocks them hard and I love it when she does. Around here they are easily found in many indie shops, but I made mine. There are patterns all over books and Ravelry if you are interested in making your own.
