Hair Cut

I finally bit the bullet and decided to go short again with my hair. I got it cut today and it's literally like lifting a weight off of my shoulders. I have a ton of hair - it's so thick that every single stylist comments on how much hair I have. So getting 6 inches cut off of it feels like a major relief. I always have such grandiose ideas about growing my hair long long long like the girls in the magazines. Today when I told my stylist that, she said "oh Megan, that's not how they wear their hair everyday - those are extensions for the photo shoots." Ah. Now I understand how they wear their hair so long - they don't have to lug it around all day every day of their life. Hair weighs a lot. Anyways, I thought I would share a photo with you since I did that silly "hair poll" a while back. Here's what I've ended up with for now and I am loving it. It's basically my natural color(ish) (actually a tad darker than my natural color, but not by a lot) and I'm on the fence about leaving it this color vs going lighter or darker. Any suggestions on color?

**Edited to add: I made a couple of changes if you're interested: I used fontina, gouda, and swiss cheeses since I couldn't find the ones listed in the recipe (safeway now carries shredded gouda and swiss cheeses). I also added about 1 cup of chopped greek olives. And instead of making bread crumbs I used panko crumbs on the top. Delicious!!!

I have so many projects in the knitting queue it's a little bit laughable. I have come to the realization that I am tiny bit of a yarn/fiber hoarder and have so many skeins and hanks of yarn just dying to be made into something lovely. Hairstyle VOTE

Ok, it's time for a vote. I could really use some help deciding what to do with my hair. It's currently long and dark and my bangs are growing out so it's similar to style 2. I can't decide if I should leave it long and dark the way it is or if I should cut it off... Please leave a comment and cast your vote. That would really help me out!!

Style 1: short with bangs

Today

This is what today looks like. Right now. With my new little guy. We are doing lots of snuggling while I am dreaming up the work I am moving into for fall. Letting the cool, crisp air, the mums on the porch, and the cider in my mug inspire what's next for me and for you. Between baby smiles and nibbles of dark chocolate, bits of inspiration are coming up to a simmer. Gearing up for some creativity and getting excited about it. Back soon with some sneak peeks.
